Digital coloring can be just as difficult as coloring with traditional media, sometimes even more so. I like how you've gone with a mostly monochromatic color scheme. It's easy to use a monochromatic color scheme, but it's not as easy to use it in such a way that it looks natural, like how it 'should be.' The only problem I have with the coloring is that the skin seems too shiny for someone standing in water during dusk/night. Thus, the skin feels plastic to me. The shading on the face is much better, more natural. I like the small details you worked on, like the reflections from water appearing on the hem of her dress, and the ethereal glow around the girl. The composition is simple and calm.
Additionally, before submitting this critique, I just noticed the facial expression. I love how the facial expression matches the 'feel' of the colors: calm, and sad.
It's absolutely wonderful! Eri, and it seems as if she is wading after something that she has to, but wishes she didn't. Someone should write a story for this art work
Beautiful, the skin looks wet but more moist than soaked - the airy rags are responsible in part for that. The glow is interesting, makes the reflection very cool.
